Hi Netdata Community,
I am experiencing a visualization issue with my custom StatsD metrics after migrating to the latest Netdata version (Dashboard v2).
Previously, my custom charts defined in statsd.d were neatly grouped under a single main section in the sidebar menu (e.g., "Kopia"). Currently, this top-level grouping is ignored, and all my chart families are displayed as individual items at the root level of the sidebar, creating significant clutter.
It seems like the [app] name parameter is no longer creating a dedicated Sidebar Section.
My Configuration (/etc/netdata/statsd.d/kopia.conf):
Expected Behavior:
Actual Behavior (v2 Dashboard):
Question: Is there a new configuration parameter required for Dashboard v2 to force the creation of a custom Sidebar Section for StatsD apps? Do I need to manually register the "Kopia" type in a specific frontend file (like dashboard_info.js) to restore the hierarchy?
Any advice on how to un-flatten these charts would be appreciated.
Thanks!
