With trap rhymes reminiscent of Gucci Mane, Memphis rapper Big Moochie Grape is looking to become his city’s next breakout star. • Growing up in East Memphis, Moochie was no stranger to street life. He went to jail for the first time when he was just eight years old. • BMG grew up listening to Memphis legends such as Three 6 Mafia and 8Ball & MJG. He began taking rap seriously in 2017, when he found a studio where he could record for $20 a song. • He signed to his mentor Young Dolph’s Paper Route EMPIRE imprint at the top of 2020. Dolph then gave him a purple Lamborghini. • The rapper released his menacing debut project, Eat Or Get Ate, in 2020. That same year, he was part of the Nays & Grapes 2 project alongside rappers Jay Fizzle, LoLife Blacc and DJ Fly Guy.
