thanks for the reply @simsim1986! We cannot accept access, but let’s see what we can find out since we have more or less the same configuration currently (and I am able to complete the setup process):
This is the Plesk cPanel Firewall settings page that I have powered by ModSecurity. It is a known limitation that I believe you tried to disable temporarily already?
1) Could you check the contents of the error log file for blocked requests?
2) Additionally, do you have an .htaccess file on the server? If so, could you scan that to see if there are any security rules present? Particularly those mentioning 405 or R=405 (method not allowed).
Thanks again!
@simsim1986 Just following up with you in relation to your previous issue with Site Kit setup. We have made some significant updates to the plugin as of version 1.1.2, which addresses the issue you were encountering.
With this update I will mark this support topic as resolved. As an early Site Kit user we value your input, please let me know if the latest update doesn’t resolve your issue, whereby I would be happy to assist further.
After the update to 1.1.2 when I click setup and go to Setup page on google site I click “Sign in with google” and the page just reloads and gives me the same page again.
@simsim1986 Thanks for the update. Can you inform me of the following:
– What Site Kit modules do you have active?
– What security/optimisation plugins do you have active?
If you want to share your Site Health information I can hopefully assist further.
I don’t have any site kit modules or security or optimization plugins.
for site health please see my previous reply

thanks
@simsim1986 Thanks for the update. I reviewed your Site Health information again and I didn’t notice anything unusual or something that may be causing the issues. Do you have any other WordPress sites hosted on the same server (without a CDN) which you can check with?
@simsim1986 Just following up with you on this issue. Have you had to opportunity to check with the latest version of Site Kit, v1.3.1, or from another website hosted on the same server?
@jamesosborne I removed the plugin
