Are there any writing systems you've seen recently that look pretty cool or interesting to you. Or that you like how they function?

Tons. Over a hundred. I love writing systems; they’re kind of my thing. I spend a lot of time looking at them, so, yeah, it stands to reason I’d come across some I would like. If you’re talking about created writing systems, the best I’ve ever seen have been by Trent Pehrson. You can go here to see his many writing systems, except for one, because the link is broken. You can find that one using Archive.org here. But yeah, in terms of style, Trent Pehrson’s work is unparalleled, and then in terms of systematicity, Trent created a type of writing system that I don’t think existed before he created it. I really recommend you take a look at his stuff.
