This addresses an issue with use of FFI static build in a libffi version v3.4.5 and newer due to changes made in libffi/libffi@2b2f61f. See specifically https://github.com/libffi/libffi/blob/2263d6037f8ef6b8d5bef14117ad1a17c32a20b9/include/ffi.h.in#L137-L151.

I will look at the CI issue shortly and if I can’t address it promptly, i will bypass the check and move forward with integration.
