• Since I started to use AIO SEO, all my main pages and all other pages got redirected to /egger without the URL changes… I check the JavaScript console, there’s no 301 response.

I’m not sure how would this happen. So I disabled AIO SEO, Super catch, and clear the catch…still the same, all pages got redirected the /egger page.

If you look closely, when I click the about (聯絡) URL, the page is loaded with /egger content, but the URL stays at /about

What could have happened? I’ve recreated about/contact/faus/home few times, but still no help.

Anyone have the same difficult experiences?

  • Hey @stonez
As I can see this is the malware injection in your website. Please check if you have any clean backup and restore it. Otherwise check for the any unauthenticated plugin and codes on your website.

    Hi @iamshubhamsp,

Thanks for your reply, but I have security expert worked at Dreamhost(my hosting provider) to take a deep look at malware issue and they found nothing related…. I am still let them check other issues.
Meanwhile, if any one has similar experiences, please share your thought with me.

    Thank you,

Hello, stonez. I submitted your site to sucuri.net, just to see what it said, and it found no malware either. That does not definitively exclude a hack for sure, , but it makes me more prone to seek other solutions first.

So, in order to do that, please provide the following information:

    • a copy of your .htaccess file;
    • Please go to your dashboard > Settings > General & copy/paste precisely the information contained in home address & WordPress address.
    • Please look at your wp-config.php file & see if there are lines containing define( ‘WP_HOME’ and define( ‘WP_SITEURL’. If so, please paste these lines into your reply as well.
    • Please also check your theme’s functions.php file to see if it contains any reference to your URL, &, if so, please copy/paste them in your reply.

If your site is using a content delivery network or going through Cloudflare (I didn’t see evidence of that but just in case), you may wish to disable those & see if that changes anything.

Obviously not understanding the language the site is written in does create a bit of a handicap for me.

Lastly, please, if there’s anything you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Hi @abletec ,
Thank you for your willingness to look into this issue.
However, I have to switched to other theme and it seemed the issues is gone!
Now, I suspect the issue was in the “Extended Theme”.

Since I had to deliver the website to my customer on last Friday(UTC+8), I had to switch to other theme and continue from there to get my payment. I have no issue so far.

    Thank you,
