Can’t login to Woocommerce.com

I am trying to log in to WooCommerce, but I get redirected to a page that says “Account found – there is already an account with this email address. Please enter email address and password.”
I enter the email address and password and it says “Invalid Login – please enter a valid email address and password below.”
I have clicked on the forgot password and reset the password, but it still won’t accept it.

The message you’re seeing — “Account found — there is already an account with this email address. Please enter email address and password.” — usually means that you don’t yet have a WordPress.com account linked to that email, even though you’ve used it on WooCommerce.com before.
To fix this, you’ll just want to create a WordPress.com account using the same email address you’ve used on WooCommerce. Once that’s done, you can click “I forgot my password” while on the error screen. That will send you a password reset link to get into your account. Once your new password is set, you should be able to log in successfully.

I have a wordpress.com account already and it won’t let me sign in as described above. I have changed the password multiple times.

Thanks, that seems to be asking me to recover the account for wordpress.com, which I don’t have an issue with. It’s WooCommerce that I can’t sign into.

Yes, that’s correct. I get a message to say that there is already an account with that email address and to sign in with my email address and password, which it rejects as incorrect.

Here I assume you meant after resetting the password, you got email to reset password and was able to do so but when you tried logging in using the new password it still shows invalid? or do you mean you were unable to reset password.
Can you attempt the reset password again? This time please pay attention to the password as it could be there was a mistake in the new password and let me know your observation and I will be willing to assist further.
I’m sorry if I’ve not been clear. I have successfully reset the password with wordpress.com a number of times. I can log in to wordpress.com with that password with no problem. However, when I try to log in to woocommerce with that password it won’t accept it and says it’s an incorrect password.

Thank you for providing more information about the issue. I understand you’re experiencing difficulties logging in to your WooCommerce.com account.Instead of entering your password directly on WooCommerce.com, please first log in to your WordPress.com account. Once you’re logged in, follow these steps in the same browser where you’re logged into your WordPress.com account.
- After that Select Log in on the homepage of WooCommerce.com
- Use your WordPress.com account to sign in, (You will see the option to click ‘Use WordPress.com account to log in)
- Click Approve to authorize WooCommerce.com to use your WordPress.com account (In this way you will not asked to entered the password or email address)
- You’ll be redirected to your WooCommerce.com account.
You are now logged into WooCommerce.com and can view your My Account Dashboard, Downloads, Orders and Subscriptions, and open a Support request.

Thanks, but I don’t have the option ‘Use WordPress.com account to log in’ There is no scenario I can find that doesn’t involve asking me to type in my username and password for wordpress.com. Every time I do that it tells me my username or password is incorrect. I will try and create an account with a different email address to raise a ticket on WooCommerce. This has been beyond frustrating.
Following up on this. I have found that it was due to a change of email address on the account that was causing the issue. Having entered the previous email address, I was able to log in. Thankfully my browser password manager had saved the previous password.
