Current menu Item stays stuck

    When using Classic menu block, I’m facing an issue.

    If I visit my site root/home, the home link in the menu is marked as current-menu-item on <li> tag, then I change the page to Contact Us, now I’ve two .current-menu-item classes, one on home and one on Contact Us, until I hard-refresh browser.

    Kindly provide some solution.

    Hi Arshad,

    Are you using some server caching solution? Try to flush the cache and/or set the caching to match your needs.

    If that’s not the cause of the issue, also the plugin contains a menu caching. Try to disable the plugin caching.

    That does the trick.

    BTW Disabling the plugin cache is inside Appeance > Customizer > Menus > Classic… >, not in Appearance > Menus > Classic…

    Kindly adjust in the docs or faqs.
