    Hello!

You guys are doing a great job with this plugin. We’re using it at work in one of our projects where we translated it into German. I pushed a bit and the PO agreed to import these translations to the plugin itself.

All the texts have been translated and are pending approval. Since I am a native German speaker, I would be happy to become a Project Translation Editor for the German language of this plugin (more about that here: https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/plugin-theme-authors-guide/pte-request/).

    Happy coding!

    Hi @drazenbebic,

Thank you so much for your contribution and for helping translate the plugin into German — we truly appreciate your effort and support. It’s great to hear that the translations are complete and pending approval.

Our team will check your request to become a Project Translation Editor (PTE) for the German locale.

Thanks again for your help in making the plugin more accessible to German-speaking users!

    Best regards,

I have also pushed all translations into the WordPress translation system and I also created fully-translated .mo and .po files.

However, the plugin only uses those translations in some places (for example, the menu options). The settings and actual interface are still in English.

So there seems to be a bug in the plugin which prevents translations from being applied everywhere.

You can see all strings for German (informal) here:
    https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/media-library-organizer/stable/de/default/

    All informal strings are here:
    https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/media-library-organizer/stable/de/formal/

Those just need to be approved so a translation can be created automatically.
You can also export the .po and .mo files on those pages if you want to include the files directly in the plugin (which isn’t ideal, though, especially when an update adds some new strings).
