Plugin causes Site Editor/Page Editor to flash

    It goes away once your plugin is deactivated.

    Not sure why it would affect selecting text inside a PARAGRAPH in the GRID BLOCK since it isn’t technically used in the content area of this page.

    It’s only used on the sitewide header which of course doesn’t display in Page Editor view (only Site Editor view). I am using it in the site header to jumplink from Contact to the footer)? Even though the header can be shown via computer icon (upper right in Page/Site Editor) > Show Template so maybe it’s always there and just hidden.

    OK. Have you set a “Highlight selector(s)” in plugin options? If not, can try a non-existing one like:

    .nothing

    Save changes, test and let me know

    Tried your suggestion (with both nothing and .nothing), and it still flashes on the Page Editor/Site Editor page in backend.

    1. One interesting thing to note is that having the latest Gutenberg plugin makes the flashing bug stop. So you may be curious to see what they have in their latest code that works differently with your plugin
