Just an FYI – the latest update of the Create plugin is breaking the post editor screen (at least for those using the code/classic post editor).

The formatting toolbar (with bold, italics, link, etc) is now missing because the Create plugin is blocking the JS requests sent by WordPress.

Hi @ppg213 — I’m sorry to hear the latest update is causing issues for you!

I’ve just sent a reply to your support email with some questions about the issue, as I’ve not been able to replicate it using the latest version of Create and the Classic Editor.

Looking forward to figuring this out together!

This isn’t just breaking the classic editor, but also the buttons when replying to comments in the admin.

I see a fix is meant to be released sometime soon, but I think I’ll be downgrading as it doesn’t look like the plugin has been well tested at all – very concerning when major issues are introduced by new ownership.

@smerriman to be fair, it’s new ownership but I’ve been developing Create since the beginning 😉

Yes, I will be releasing a fix for this issue this week. I try not to release over Thanksgiving since it’s a high-earning holiday in the US.

I’ve just released Create 1.10.2 with a fix for this issue. Please let me know if you continue to have issues. If the issues are fixed, please mark this topic as resolved 🙂

    Thanks for your patience!

@jmlallier – just updated the plugin on the 3 sites it was breaking and…

    It’s fixed!

    Thanks you so much!

@ppg213 fantastic! Thank you for letting me know, and for informing me about the issue in the first place!
