• I’ve used „all-in-one-migration“ for years and never had a problem. as the mentioned site of my client refused to open to the admin page (critical error, consult wordpress org.) I tried all sorts of kancks but finally had to reinstall a fresh version of wordpress (6.9) knowing that I had a backup file produced with all-in-one. unfortunately the file refused to load prompting me to use the „Tester“. I did that and it came right back with „file corrupt“. oh my! just to make sure I tried a back up with various other sites I designed and take care off and found out that supposedly all these files are corrupt! I sincerely believe that this could not be the case. In all cases I had updated the plugin and the unlimited extension to the latest versions. what to do? The site I have to update consist of more than 30 pages and I’d hate to have to redo the page especially because I have nothing to go by anymore!!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I would recommend that you contact their support forum with your query: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/all-in-one-wp-migration/

If AIOWPM suddenly says every backup is “corrupt”, according to my experience it’s usually not that all your sites got cursed overnight – it’s more often a restore environment / upload / PHP limit issue, or the archive got mangled in transit (browser upload, server timeout, disk full).

First thing I would do is try restoring the same .wpress file on a totally different environment (local site or another host) – if it restores there, your backup is fine and the problem is your current server setup.
