Validation of custom inputs (not included with shortcode)

Hello, I have anCF7 form that features custom radio inputs included “manually” (meaning without using the CF7 shortcode). Since I need to implement the validation for those, is it possible to use the “wpcf7_validate” or “wpcf7_validate_radio” filter to try to validate those as well?
