Weird wordpress.org username setup on my account.

I login to my wordpress.org account with the username matt-h Since this is what I created the account with.

I see in the dropdown in the top right matt-h shown below my name showing that is my username.

However when I click my profile it uses matt-h-1 https://profiles.wordpress.org/matt-h-1/ and says @matt-h-1 on WordPress.org. I can edit this profile fine.

I always thought that was weird since 2014 when the profile was updated but never bothered about it since it was working fine. I think this got messed up with some kind of account link thing.

However when I login to https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ it logs me in through my same wordpress.org account I’m using here. However it shows my username there as matt-h and links to the profile at https://profiles.wordpress.org/matt-h/

When I post comments there it uses the matt-h profile. See here for an example with my recent comment: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/38921

The issue I have is I have no way to edit the matt-h profile page that I am commenting as, just the matt-h-1 profile page. Also, the github link for pull requests is setup the the matt-h-1 profile so it doesn’t link to the same on I have access to on trac.

Is there anyone that is able to look into my profile setup for me?
